GTA 6: An Extended Look
Rockstar’s next reveal. Netflix gets it a few hours early — but you do not need a subscription to watch it.
How to watch it — both ways
Netflix
Netflix subscribers get it roughly six hours ahead of everyone else. That head start is the entire Netflix deal — nothing more, nothing exclusive.
Rockstar’s YouTube + the GTA VI site
The exact same video, free, no subscription, no account. If you skip Netflix you miss six hours — you don’t miss a single frame.
This one went around hard, and it isn’t true. A six-hour streaming head start is not a paywall. The full reveal lands free on Rockstar’s own channel the same night, for everyone, worldwide. Set a reminder for the free premiere and you’ve lost nothing.
Five questions worth watching for
Written before the reveal, so we can be honest afterwards about what it actually answered.
- 01Is there real gameplay — or another cinematic cut?
- 02How do Jason and Lucia work? Do you switch between them, and when?
- 03How much of Leonida can you actually enter — shops, homes, clubs?
- 04Any word at all on GTA Online for 6?
- 05Does the November 19 date get reconfirmed on screen?
One honest warning before Thursday
Expectations are running ahead of the facts. A lot of people have talked themselves into a full gameplay walkthrough with developer narration. Rockstar promised five words: “GTA 6 — An Extended Look.”
It may well be more than that. But if it isn’t, remember the hype was fan-made — and so is the disappointment. Nothing has been promised and broken.
Watch it with us
We break down every reveal the same night — honestly, with the unconfirmed parts labelled as unconfirmed.
How we source this: the Netflix window and the free same-night premiere are confirmed; exact minute-by-minute timings can shift, so treat the times as approximate and check Rockstar’s channel on the night. We label anything unconfirmed as unconfirmed — that’s the whole point of this site.
